I was drowning in debt, and I'm 26. This was from school loans, my car payments, insurance, groceries, credit cards, my cellphone and more. I wanted a fresh start, and as many people know - its not fun asking for help for your finances, especially when you're in the negative.

I contacted Hoyes for a consultation, by the way ITS FREE! And the initial call is what gave me the first good impression. The woman who I would speak with at reception was so pleasant and very patient. She set me up for a meeting with Scott later that week. Scott was fantastic, he listened to everything I was going through, didn't judge me for a second, was motivated to help me get a fresh start, and took the time to run through all of the options with me and was very patient about it.

I then was directed to Diane, who was the cherry on top of this experience. She is awesome, and very welcoming and friendly. She was the one to help me with the details of all of the debts I incurred. She immediately contacted the credit bureaus and the phone calls and pestering stopped. She dealt with all the stress and headaches of my debt. She checked in with me a few times to assist with credit counselling and budgeting. She's been a wonderful help to me and was able to get my 30k debt down to 6k. I've been fortunate this year with CERB/CRB to pay these debts off in full - however this decrease in my debt, no interest building on it during the 5 years, and my credit has increased HEAPS! She also told me that the credit counselling is fully included in their price (thats included in my 6k) and can be used whenever, even though I'm finished with my payments, I'm still going to reach out if I need help with finances or budgeting in the future.
